Privacy policy — Porta Potty Finder
This is the privacy policy for Porta Potty Finder (portapottylist.com). We aim to collect the minimum data needed to run a useful directory and to be plainspoken about how we use it.
What we collect
Server logs. Our web server records the standard things: IP address, user-agent, page requested, timestamp, and referrer. We use this to detect abuse and understand which pages people find useful. Logs are retained for 30 days.
Lead-form submissions. When you email us via a contact or "add your business" link, we receive your email and whatever you wrote. We respond from a human inbox.
Analytics. If we deploy analytics, it will be a privacy-respecting option (no third-party trackers, no fingerprinting, no cross-site IDs).
What we do not do
No tracking pixels. No third-party advertising cookies. No selling visitor data. No "data partners" sharing your behavior across sites.
Listings
Business information shown on listings is gathered from public sources (business websites, Google Maps, public business registrations) and from voluntary submissions. If you are listed and want your data removed or corrected, email us and we'll process it within 7 days.
